Adventure Trek To Everest Base Camp
This trek is organized by Himalayan HealthCare, Nepal and managed by Anil Parajuli and his experienced team in Nepal. Adventure seekers can enjoy a trek of a lifetime and also contribute by raising funds to support health care and village schools in Nepal through Himalayan HealthCare. We will help you with information, HHC annual bulletins, a CD with presentation and other materials to help raise funds. A minimum amount of $2600 will help pay for the trek and contribute to the village projects as well.

Participants: 15 people (max)
Trek Manager: Amar Rai (25 yrs. trek experience) with highly experienced team
19 days: Kathmandu to Kathmandu
Itinerary:
Nov 12: Arrival (latest this day by the afternoon), pickup and escort to hotel. Late afternoon trek briefing and welcome dinner.
Nov 13: Kathmandu Sightseeing tour, full day.
Nov 14: First flight to Lukla. Walk to Phakding and camp
Nov 15: Walk to Namche. Lunch at river confluence before final climb to Namche Bazaar. Camp at Namche
Nov 16: Thame (Tenzing Sherpa’s birthplace, monastery visit), Camp (acclimatization day)
Nov 17: Khumjung or Khunde village hike (acclimatization day)
Nov 18: Thyanboche
Nov 19: Dingboche
Nov 20: Dingboche, walks to Chukung Ri and back to Dingboche Camp (acclimatization)
Nov 21: Lobuche
Nov 22: Gorakshep (OPTION: to base camp if group condition allows)
Nov 23: Hike to Kalapaththar and Everest Base Camp, back to Gorakshep
Nov 24: Pangboche
Nov 25: Namche
Nov 26: Lukla
Nov 27: Flight to Kathmandu
Nov 28: Additional day (for flight delays)
Nov 29: Day in Kathmandu
Nov 30: Final Departure from Nepal (at the earliest)
Please note:
1. Seven is minimum participants or minimum $20K raised. If more than 15 participants, second trek group will be created to go at the same time or a couple of days later.
2. Itinerary subject to change: group condition, weather conditions, camping spots, etc.
3. Two extra days built in to ensure flight in and out of Lukla
5. Flight: Costs based on fixed wing flights (helicopter because of weather then extra cost?)
6. Luggage on trek: 12 Kgs. Max per person, Handbaggage (3 kgs)
7. Tent Sharing Basis (Single supplement additional $300)
8. Personal porter (additional $150)
9. Horse (on availability, $ 100 per day)
10. Personal insurance by participants
11. Staff insurance by HHC, Nepal
12. Cost covers flight to and from Lukla, full trek, trekking fees, fees to porters, and your donation to Himalayan HealthCare.
But does not cover international flight, hotel in Kathmandu, tips to porters.
