David McClain And Merilyn Wong Visit To Ilam October 2009
David McClain and Merilyn Wong were escorted by Dr. David Johnson, president of HHC, accompanied by Dr. Tim Anderson, an ENT surgeon from Boston. They also took part in the village medical camps conducted by Drs. David Johnson and Tim Anderson with support from the hospital staff at Siddhithumka and Sangrumba villages in Ilam. (The village medical camps and the extended stay of the two doctors at the community hospital served over 1000 patients in Ilam).
David McClain and Merilyn Wong also raised substantial funds for the Ilam community hospital recently providing critical health care to the whole community of Ilam.
